We will be participating in the March of Dimes March for Babies 5k walk this Saturday. I created a team called "March for Maddie-San Antonio" in memory of little Maddie Spohr. So far the team consists of Bob, myself and 2 employees from the bank I work at. A few friends will hopefully join us as well. We are really looking forward to it! I participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for the first time in April and it truly was a humbling experience.

ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!! I have (out of my 4 boys) two boys that were preemies and in the NICU - my Noah was 1lb 12oz and my Nathan was 3lbs 4oz so March of Dimes is very close to my heart, and I think you are doing it for such a great little girl!! I haven't read her story but I will.

Hi following you from MBC. I also walked in the March of Dimes March for Babies on April 25th in western NC. I had a grandson who was born premature at 27 weeks he lived for 4 1/2 months before passing. My family and I walked in his memory.
